  Love the duke. Fantastic beer choice and food. They have a magnificent beer garden with a gorgeous tree growing through the deck. It's a nice spot for a Sunday session. Very relaxed. I'd recommend sitting outside because inside feels a little cold/dark. Would get 5 stars if their lunch specials became dinner specials ????

  The food here is excellent, and the service is friendly and personal. Alexandria can be pretty dead at night, its good to have some life in the area, the Iron Duke has a fun vibe.

  Finely curated selection of craft beer that rotate often. Helps, or doesn't, that my bus home stops right outside. Big outdoor areas with a huge shady tree. Looks dog friendly but you'd have to confirm.
