  Steak night $15 beautifully cooked for my wife and I. Kids enjoyed burgers and a schnitzel. Would have given 5 stars but chips way too salty. Will be back though!

  Good quality pub food and the mains are quite large. The Nelson is good for groups of around 10 to 12 people at the big tables. Sometimes when it is crowded it can become very noisy making it difficult to hear any conversations, however weigh that up with the quality of the food and you can understand why we keep going back.

  Do yourself a favour and stagger past the RSL & Easts Leagues Club and head up to 'The Nelson' and enjoy a great feed and live music. Good family value and the night was reasonably priced. The chef nailed the steaks and the tap beer was spot on!!! I'm an exceptionally harsh critic but these guys ticked ALL the boxes.
