  Need little (more) work with the services. Shower was the worst. Water drops before the shower head and hard to have a shower. When I informed the reception she came had a look and said she will inform the manager. Nothing done at all. Shower screen was broken and replaced with a horrible shower curtain. Blanket was smelly but they replaced with a new one the second night which was same. Customer service needs much work as well. But affordable with the best location!

  Great experience. Seems to have been renovated and improved considerably since some of it's negative reviews were written. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, room spotless, bathroom brand new and very nice. A few areas of outdated architecture (creaky three floor stair case), but of course the building is heritage listed, so renovations are hard. Room was great value, location perfect for what I needed. Genuinely great experience!

  This place is the little known fuel on Oxford Street. It's not much to look at from the front entrance just a somewhat narrow door wedged between two typically colourful Oxford Street businesses. I've stayed in four the rooms and each one has been clean with everything you need including a private bathroom full stop the real jam here however is the rooftop room and the rooftop drinking / dining area. It has magnificent views of the city from an unexpected angle. The photos you can get here at sunset call knock the pants off your Instagram profile. The staff are friendly and helpful. Price for weight I say it's the best value for money in Darlinghurst.
