  Visited for lunch today with the family. We thought our meals were very tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant. The waiters were friendly and attentive.

  We discovered this Italian restaurant today when visiting Leichhardt. Not sure why some bad reviews when food today was absolutely beautiful. Entree, main and side plate, desserts and coffees... plus some little attentions from the chef. Very impressed with flavours and presentation. Portions were not big but for us were just right. Customer service was excellent and they were always checking if we were alright. Sunday lunch was not a busy time and we waited a little bit for our food, but you could see that it was freshly cooked. Atmosphere was relaxed and very welcome. We would love to comeback on a Saturday and see how they manage with more customers but I think they should be alright. A must stop for the best Italian food in the area.

  What a lovely dining experience at LaTavernetta. Authentic Italian food, which was absolutely delicious. The Deconstructed Cheesecake was to die for. Service was excellent, I can highly recommend this restaurant.
