Left me wondering if they had changed owners... To be perfectly fair, I've have had really good experiences in the past at Bacco. Their macarons and other pastries are delectable. Cocktails are not half bad. However, I'm not really sure if it is an off day, but the bolognese I was served was just not quite passable. The service was a little off too... only halfway through the meal was I offered peppered and parmesan...Rather disappointed as a whole. Fingers crossed this is an off day. On the plus side, at least the wine is nice.

NOW CLOSED. Good lunchs (beef salad is great - although it varies; one time it was steak cut out; then the next time it was shaved and very little meat ... weird) but yeah.. they have a lunch time happy hour coffee+pastry for $6 which is great value. Their pastries are good. The strawberry tart is amazingly fresh tasting. Service is neat; the italian guys are very good

was there yesterday-first time so not sure if this a bad day or not-ordered the calamari- very dissappointing and mineral water and tea- no sugar on table and so asked an asian waitress who spoke limited english!! for some sugar she then brought me - not a bowl with a variety of sugar etc but ONE packet of sugar-considering what they charge they can afford to have bowls of sugar packets on all tables. Calamari was also listed as coming with "prown"- their spelling- but not one prawn in the bowl.... overrated because of locale.....better eating places lower down levels

Bacco offered delicious, well presented cakes and pastry goods and a solid selection of leaf tea, however our group suffered from the less than sunny disposition of the waitress.
