Great location, clean basic 3 star hotel. Courteous staff with reasonable pricing. Suitable for families, all rooms do not have step free access. Recommended under value for money, good place to stay with a weekend market 2 mins away.

Went to the Great Southern Hotel for lunch with some colleagues. Though the decor is retro, it has a modern vibe with pleasant background music, friendly staff, and plenty of amenities to keep you occupied. The food is delivered fast, and fresh. It is well priced and tastes fantastic. I highly recommend coming here for lunch, dinner, or just for a casual drink.

Drink prices are reasonable. Seem to have a good variety of food with daily specials. Meals with deals for the workers- eg: burger and a beer. Stairs to the toilets are a bit scary but toilets are clean and functional.

Not a bad hotel. It states that there were to be a free drink on arrival but this was not the case, so a little bit of disappointed in that. The room was adequate, but check in took a while as there was only one person on the desk

Old hotel with railway station very close. Small rooms with air conditioning but unfortunately we couldn't adjust settings to suit us. Restaurant meals and breakfast a bit pricey. Overall it's like a 5 star backpackers. No views unfortunately. Public Bar downstairs at entrance. Ok for a short stop over.
