  The location, staff were very good. The size room was excellent. The beds very comfortable. The only thing missing was a toaster.

  Really nice pub with great service. I have previously been there when it was an old man's pub with not too many reasons to return. Now it's family friendly and clean with a great atmosphere. Only downside was that I couldn't order food from the bar.

  Very decent pub these days, the downstairs extension has really pushed it up a notch - classier decor and making better use of the space. Good selection of beers and wines. Staff downstairs seemed rather unfriendly a few times though. Frankie's bar upstairs is lovely - great views, beautiful food and cocktails. Be prepared to pay for that though, if you want an economical meal, that's found back downstairs.
