Great publican, awesome pub and the best coffee I have ever had. Thanks for the great hospitality. Well worth the look around the old gold mining town of Ravenswood, would highly recommend a visit.

Went on an adventure with local Townsville company, Raven Tours, to the historic gold rush town of Ravenswood last weekend. We stayed overnight at the Railway Hotel and had to share what a fantastic experience we had. The hotel has kept the rustic authenticity of the gold rush days but that does not mean it was not a five star experience. Staff were efficient and friendly and catered to our every need. Super comfy beds and the serenity of "the bush" meant I slept like a baby... possibly also the shots from the bar before last drinks were called. Recommend everyone get out there and experience the wonders of nature, and the peace and tranquility of a night in a real bush pub!
