  First time eating here and was impressed at the quality for pub grub. Had the ENTREE "meat" share platter and a basket of exceptional (hand cut?) chips to share as a main for two people and couldn't finish it! Lamb chops were the most tender and delicious I've ever had! Staff exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Plus, they give you a chicken wing each upon arrival! Glad this is our new local, we'll definitely be back to work our way through the menu!

  Recently renovated, the red brick hotel puts forward the charms of this old building. The food is good, well priced. Caring staff providing a good service.

  I really didn't want to write a review for this bar, coz saying how absolutely amazing it is will only encourage more people to go there, and I wanna keep this my secret. Staff are outstanding; Mel and Rachel are the duck's nuts for service and so very friendly. The meat share platter was phenomenal and was a very good portion size. I mostly drank the cider there, but also had a flight deck of 4 different beers and they were all pretty great. Also loved the video jukebox, what a great idea! Will most certainly be back (but I'm not bringing anyone with me) ????????
