  Meals had very large portions. We had one seafood platter each whereas one would do for two adults. Food was delicious. Good selection of wine by the bottle. Rooms were cheap and cheerful, but did the job. Clean linen and towels were provided. Shared bathroom reminded me of camping with my family as a child!

  Lovely old country pub, friendly staff, great meals, comfortable beds . A bit cold in areas especially showering and going down for (complimentary) breakfast in the morning. All in all a great location and value for money.

  The accommodation here is great value for money, I really enjoyed our stay! The staff were very hospitable and accommodating, we arrived just as the kitchen at the bar was due to close and they happily took our order so we could have dinner. The room we stayed in was nice and the bed very comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities were very clean and nicely decorated too. Overall the place had a cosy, homely feel and with breakfast included in our stay (fruit, cereal, toast) we really couldn't have asked for more.
