My family and I stayed in 2 motel rooms as we were 2 adults, four children and one infant. The kids enjoyed it because of the chickens that were grazing about. They were Old and Country style motel rooms that look like a house from outside. Coffee and tea and biscuits were made available in the cupboards.The bathrooms were nice and spacious. We only utilized the motel rooms and petrol service and nothing else. Thanks

Lovely small campground with geese, chooks, kites and assorted bird life. Staff were friendly. Nice bar for a drink.

When driving a long way in any highway it is always refreshing to pull in to a roadhouse. You can expect to pay that little bit more for everything due to the remoteness but the people who work/live here are what make them successful. The warmth with which they serve you and the friendliness is welcoming. The drinks are cold, the food is freshly prepared. The amenities may be dated but they provide what they are designed for - relief. Sure you could whinge about some things if you were petty minded, but these places offer a great relaxation stop during travels.
